There is a STUNNING forest green sun coral on display at City Pets as of yesterday afternoon, but a sign on it saying sold. If anyone knows the owner or is the owner, please PM me if you think there is a chance I could buy a small frag off of it. It was amazing. I would have bought it had it not been sold.

Have you been to Global? They have a couple large pieces ( almost or as large as at City Pets) as well and at a better price too.

You have the clams on the end of the isle and as you are looking at the isle, the Yellow/orange sun's were down the isle to the right. The other ones were on the left hand isle right at the corner near the clams. It was a HUGE piece. Bigger than a softball. They had a 3 ltr. bottle cut in half and covering them for some reason.

Gosh, imagine that. A LFS feeding the sun corals.

Will wonders never cease?!

Al, the bottle is supposed to keep the other tank mates from stealing food or to keep it from being blown away. I doubt there were any fish or shrimp to speak of in that tank, so it was probably the latter.

I guess I should pay more attention next time. Then again, they had a lot of their canopies flipped up. You really can't see the bottom of the upper tanks when the lower tanks are open like that. :(
