Has anyone opened up a Reefbreaders led fixture and cleaned the fan? Is it safe to do? Or should I spray canned are in the vents to clean out?

Will probably void your warranty if you do it. But I think it's an excellent way to keep the fan clean by opening it up and cleaning. Or using air can or air compressor to blow out all that dust that could potentially cause overheating.

It wouldn't hurt to ask reef breeders what they recommend, and warranty details. Its certainly a good question to ask.

Great, thanks.

I just want to use compressed air to clean them.
