S & S Exotics

http://www.sandsexoticanimals.com/

They have or can get just about anything that doesn't live in water, doesn't purr and doesn't bark.

They are the folks that sold me every snake I've ever owned and they have SO much more...

Love the bulldog. Mine recently passed a couple of months ago. I love those dogs. Sad thing is their lifespans arent that long.

it is alot closer to you and i recomend them over S&S as someone else recomended, called Pets-a-Plenty or Ultimate reptile...it is kitty corner from T&T in the HEB parking lot right next to little caesars...

there reptiles are top notch, S&S might have more of a selection but i feel that there reptiles are bought and sold sacraficing potential quality for price...they take good care of there reptiles, dont get me wrong, i think they just buy lower quality animals and try to put as many of them out as they can at a lower price....

what kind of exotic snake are you thinking? what kind of room do you have for something of the such?? alot of online vendors produce awsome specimens, but you kind of have to know what your looking for to decide on a breeder....would this be your first snake?? make sure you put alot of thought into it, because i met someone that bought a burmese python at petco thinking it was cool...and were kind of mad when i told them there cool 3' snake was going to potentially turn into an 18' snake...like Trinity (my reticulated python) being a mainland yellowhead has the size potential of 18-22 feet most likely...maybe bigger maybe smaller

picture i took yesterday (grew another 7" this past month)

I know exactly where Pets-A-Plenty is...been there a few times. I'm looking for python just like yours except a lighter color (yellow). It will be in a custom cage (6'X6') at all times because I have two territorial pit bulls. I have lots of space...room is not an issue.

do you have any experience with snakes??? i definatly wouldnt recomend a snake like mine to someone who doesnt have 5 or so years of snake experience, preferably most with large constrictors...

with a large constrictor like mine, when it gets above 8 feet or so you need more then one person to handle it...and as it keeps growing you will need 1 person for every 6-8 feet of snake...do you have anyone that would be willing to help you wrestle a giant snake like this??

think about that question hard because you might think you have someone that would help, but if you open the cage and that 18 foot snake that is 150+lbs hissing and striking at you because it is angry, they are going to take off faster then you can say "OH S**T"

i am not trying to underestamate your snake handling skills, i just want you to be fully aware of what you would be getting into with a snake like mine

I appreciate the input. To answer your question, I do not have any experience with snakes. How far do you live from me? :D
