Thanks John! like I said before, I just wsh it had a bigger footprint. I've already took about 40lbs of rock out of it, and it still has too much rock.

Can you move that birdnest a little higher (pic 035x)? Not sure if it's recovering or losing tissue. If it's losing tissue, frag it quicky. If you got that from Quoc, I have the same piece. It prefers more light.

I got the Birdsnest from Mike, it was almost 1/3 Bleached. I got some broken pieces from him too, glued them and set it about 3" higher than the one on the sand. By lunch the next day it was pure white bleached, this one seems to be doing good and recovering.

Just went and looked closer at it and the base/ trunk looks to be getting a coating around it, kinda like algae is this what you are talking about? I'll see if I can find a place to move it up to.
