It all sounds good but I don't want to be the next Europe. We have over 150 yrs of oil just in the USA. There's is no rush unless you Greta. It's a politics.. politicians lining their pockets.

Ever read Rich dad Poor dad?
I have to agree with you Rick

I just want to be able to refuel at my house.

I used to live by Westheimer and Eldridge and the amount of times I hear people getting robbed/killed at the gas station is crazy. I don't mind getting gas myself, but I'm leaning towards an electric car for the wife.

Cool around here we go to the reserve to gas up. It is around 10 percent cheeper. In Detroit they have what appears to be thick Bullitt proof glass for the gas attendents.

Yeah I lived on Eldridge and memorial for many years - southwest is getting pretty bad.

Let’s see average EV car $60k
-if you put 20% down, finance for 5 years @ 2% which comes to payment of $840 plus $150 insurance- that’s steep

Most people do not put 20% plus interest rates are much higher now so higher monthly payments.

Ya plus electricity and hotel if you plan to travel at all. Not a good car for day tripper like me. It sure is a lot of money for a glorified golf cart.

And guess where Elon Musk is buying his aluminum to make Tesla components? Russia

Buy a Tesla now if you want one; otherwise, price will go up a lot in the near future.
