I think Global has the best price when they have them. Neptunes Garden has had them everytime I have been in there. It's the store on the Gulf Freeway at Fuqua.

I'd check Global, then City Pets. Bout the same price at both, maybe save a few cents as Global.

Its getting too cold to get them a lot of them come from Galveston around here. So you probally won't see the mass numbers of them again until spring.

I would try Fish World and Fish Land. I got some there right before XMas (wiped out Fish World, but they have had time to possibly re-stock). Selling for $1.99 - 2.99 / shrimp. Fish World had a "Buy 10, get 2 free" pricing structure when last I visited....

I don't know what the problem is but every time I buy pepermint shrimp I see them for a month then they disappear forever. I keep 2 skunks and 3 scarlets with no problems but with pepermints no luck and I also can't get them to eat aiptasia.

Pep Shrimp

tcarlson is right, I've actually caught them on the jetties off the seawall in Galveston in the summer. When it warms up I'm game for a collecting trip.

I believe the little blennies :? I caught in the same place eat aiptasia, heck I've even seen them nip at anemones so they are probably not reef safe.

FishLand

Thanks again for all the tips. I went to FishLand last weekend and what a real nice place it is. I have never seen a cleaner fish store anywhere from top to bottom, tanks and all. He took me in the back where they had the shrimp and even there it was neat and clean and orderyly.
That says a lot to me when I see a store like this and real nice people also. I did a lot of looking around the prices on things looked reasonable and the owner was very helpful.

Oh, yes the shrimp seem to be eating the varmits , but do hide a lot.
