I just purchased a two little fishes reactor and I'm planning to run biopellets in it... However I've ran into a problem, I'm unable to tumble the pellets unles the valve is wide open..... And when the valve is wide open the flow is too much for what is reccomended. How can I get the reccomended flow and able to tumble the pellets?

You need to change the black foam that comes on the reactor with this
Two Little Fishies NPX Screen for 150 or 550 PhosBan Reactor
to be able to make the bio pellets tumbling. I believe to make it as biopellets reactor, the reactor need an independent pump (can't share pump with other reactor). Also what brand of bio pellets are using? I found that two little fishes bio plastic is tends to clump up after couple of weeks. I'm using eco bak brand of bio pellets.

I have an individual pump, and I bought the two little fishes brand of pellets. And after reading about people crashing tanks after using biopellets I'm kind of worried about using them!

I'm a little worried now, the clam that I bought from you is doing great. I would hate to see it die!

Just one Question..........How's is your tank doing at the moment?

What pump are you using? I've been messing with mine for 3 days with a maxi jet 1200 trying to get them to tumble. They tumble like crazy with a quiet one 4000 but I have no desire to have that running along with my return pump.

There is a video on YouTube where someone removed the red plate from the bottom and they tumble pretty good but no such luck here. The more I read about the pellets the less I want to use them and may run something else.

My tank is doing good at the moment... Except for nitrates, which is why I want a reactor.
Ph is 8.5
nitrite is 0
ammonia is 0
nitrates 10
salinity 025
temp is 77
phosphates 1
calcium is 480

I wouldn't worry to much about the nitrates.
Phosphates are the bad guys here, need to be at least 0.02.
As I see your PH is 8.5 what is your alkalinity cause that's not stated.
With a large WC you should bring down the nitrates and some of your phosphate too.
I would try that first.
If that wouldn't not help after a week or two you always can go with GFO.
I'm sure there are other ways to bring those ## down but these are the basic that you can do short term.
Good luck.
