phyto

I have a guy in Austin that I get mine from and I get a gallon for $26.00. It's worth driving to get and save on shipping. If you want to contact him, PM me and I'll give you his info.

I am starting two cultures from disks tomorrow ~ Isochrysis and [/i]Tetraselmis[/i]. I just split a beautiful emerald green bottle of Nannochloropsis so I have two new cultures of that going and a liter in the fridge. I will soon be selling mixed bottles or single bottles. No shipping. :)

My promiscuous and prolific ponies are populating their pen. They're awesome! :D

No prob about the Austin guy, Steve. My gallon price will be $25.95. :)

If it makes you feel better, when I come down there next time, I'll buy a gallon from you for comparison. I really don't use that much anymore since I started using Cyclopeaze (sp.). That's the best thing since sliced bread. Have you ever tried "Invertebrate Banquet"? I like that stuff, too. I get it at Austin Aquariums.

Sherri,
If you're doing cultured phyto.. you may want to culture rotifier too:) I think a lot of people would love to buy that stuff from you since it's not available at lfs or way expensive..

I have an itty bitty vial of rotifer cysts sitting right here. :) I just haven't had the "gumption" to start those yet. Maybe tonight.....

I've never heard of Invert Banquet, but I'll be happy to sell you a gallon when I accumulate that much! :D

I've bought phyto off of ebay before. Two 32oz bottles for $13 with my shipping. The stuff smelled fine, and the tank seemed to like it as much as Dt's. I can definitely use the info on the guy in Austin. I'll be up there this weekend actually. Once Sherri is producing that much I'll be lining up to get it from her.

Tom, that's kinda why I put the spell quote by it. I knew it wasn't right but figured someone would correct me. My wrapper was torn and I couldn't read it.

Sherri, next time I'm down there I'll bring you some of the Invertebrate Banquet. They sell it in Austin. It comes in a tube like sunscreen. You just mix it with water like "Cyclop-Eeze". Thank you, Tom.
