I have been a guest user for a few years. I would like to post in the used items for sale. Seems I cannot do this as a guest.

If I join as a member will I be able to post this item? Will I have the same account or will it switch to a new account?

The answer is yes .. After becoming a member you will then be able to post your items for sale.
You should be able to keep your same account.
