I have a coralife biocube with factory equipment. It has the piece that acts as a water jet coming from pump, however I am curious if I need a powerhead on opposite side to force the water against it. I see people that have them in their tanks. I'm not doing a reef tank and the only thing that uses the current in my tank from what I can see is my two anemones. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

What size of biocube? I like flow, keeps crap from settling on your rock and stuff. I'd go with a hydor nano 450.

Depending on what size your cube is.

Sent with the power of children's screams!!

It's a 29g. So should I put it on the opposite side of the tank and flowing in the direction of water current from the filter pump or face it against the current?

If you place it going in the same direction you may get a tornado, spinning toilet effect. If you place it against it you should get counter current effect. I think, Play with it & move it around, rocks, corals, etc will change the direction of flow.

I am coaxing a rbta out for you. Probably be next week & I'll have you one.

Yea I was thinking about the vortex haha, didn't think it would be a good idea. Do you have yours on timers or are they running 24/7? Awesome on RBTA! Thanks again!
