Quiet beach in Galveston? (1 Viewer)

I was thinking of taking my kids to the beach this weekend and was wondering if anybody knew of a nice quiet beach area where the kids can play and not have a whole lot of people around.

Anybody know of a place like that?

Jamaica beach...

Just south or west of Galveston. You can still drive on the beach I believe. Not sure..

There's gonna be lotsa folks on all the beaches this weekend with the beach cleanup

Still I'd go to the state park if I wanted a quiet beach

Not Galveston, but if you want quiet then Surfside beach is my preference. I almost always go there - family or alone when I go fishing. It can be busy near the first entrances, but you can just keep going towards San Luis Pass until the crowds thin out.
