If you have MP 60 or MP 10. I think Its worth the upgrade because you can get full upgrade QD. If you have the MP40 you only can get 2 out of the 4 from the QD

If so you can take the chip out of that and upgrade.
The new chips are going to be high in cost and I'm not sure if they are in store yet, but Dennis can chime on that.

In that case you need a chip in order to upgrade to wireless.
You might send a email out to Ecotech customer service they are good in answering that for you.
