Quiet one pump (1 Viewer)

It says it is submersible and also inline. I tried to make it inline pump outside the sump, about 5 inches from the floor, got pipes about a foot long then goes up to about 14 inches and then turns towards the bottom of the sump approximately 20 inches, cannot get pump to work. If I place it inside the sump without the pipes, it works. Any suggestions to make it outside of the sump?

Have you tried priming the pump with water to see if it will start pumping. You have to fill the pipes with water if it is not self priming otherwise it will just suck air.
