So i'm at Randalls minding my own business at the Redbox and some lady decided to open her mouth and start telling me i should be ashamed of myself and i should stop getring tattoos,that they are bad and i am ruining my body ect. ( Both of my legs are "socked" from the knees down but you wouldnt know if you saw me unless im in shorts) So being in the bar industry as long as i have been i have became very quick tounged and no filter in what comes out of my mouth.. (Ya i know bad habit i know but if your not on the reciving end it can be quite comical).So before she know what happened i decided to let words fly back. I think i scared her. Sorry if you are going to say something of your own opinion to a complete stranger be prepared for a response you may not like. I personally am very proud of my tattoos the have placed on a few competitions and all have some meaning to me. Plus most were drawn by myself as well. Not eveeyone likes ink and that's fine,tattoos are not for everyone but dont feel the personal right to tell someone that its wrong and shameful just because you do not like them. Last time i checked it wasn't your body.

I agree with you, everyone has their own opinion but she was out of line doing that. I think you did right in telling her that she shouldn't say things without thinking there might not be a response or repercussion.

Agreed. It really isn't her business. Her comments were not solicited and maybe she will think twice before she gives her opinion next time.

Can't argue with that. I personally think some "one-off" tattoos can look cool, but am also less of a fan of full sleeves. But, it's none of my darn business that you happen to like them, and do want to wear them. Intolerance like that annoys me, it's our differences that make us interesting. As long as your choices don't impinge on me or my rights, then it's your own business.

I might understand if maybe they were vulgar or something. But still then ya id expect a stare or something. But all mine are tasteful and even get lots of comments from people that do not have ink done. My left leg is all scenes fron Nightmare Before Christmas which happens ro be one of my kids and i favorite movies and my right leg is done in zodiac. Koi fish koi dragon and tiger all tied into me.

I am getting flack from my hubby because I am wanting to get another tattoo. But I agree she had no business saying anything to you about it.
Don't go to Texas Tattoos Imperium something like that down in Montrose the guy with the pony tail is very rude.
