I just added a new RBTA that I got today from City Pets and he seems to have found an area in my tank he likes. The problem is he is right next to my green Colt, the colt is closed up now but in the morning I can see there being a problem as the colt spreads out. Should I seperate these two? Is the RBTA territorial and do you think he will sting the colt?

definitely move the colt. mine lightly stung some hairy mushrooms. They managed fine, but the half closest to my BTA was shrivelled up til I moved them away.

Yup, move him. The BTA will move around until he finds a place he likes. Keep an eye on it, they move around a lot until they get comfortable.

Cant believe how cheap those things are at City Pets. I have been to places and I am sure you guys have too where they were $90.00 or more.

I agree, the pricing is great. The sad part is the first one I had picked out was bagged up and sitting up by the cash register while I was getting other things. Before I could get up there to pay for it someone had picked it up and walked out of the store with out paying for it. Loooooossssserrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!! Anyway I got another one and didn't let it out of my sight. My false clowns started hosting in it tonight so I was glad to see that when I got home.

Thats good! My adopted false perculas dont want anything to do with my rose bubbles or my carpet. I guess it just takes time sometimes.
