I was into Nitro RC BIG TIME for many years. Me and my buddy would travel around Texas competing in big races. Unfortunately 2 years ago at 35 years old he got sick and was diagnosed with cancer. Died a few months later. I lost all interest and sold my stuff. Haven't raced since. I ran Mugen Seiki 1:8 scale buggies and truggies.

I had a track in my back yard and we all would race / practice for fun. Here's some pics of a weekend run....

I love how territorial the RC cars are... Chased that one lady off the track. That's a pretty cool hobby fellas... I mean, not as cool as a glass box full of animals mixed with electricity and water but... Still pretty cool.

It's about just as expensive as our boxes of water also. You can easily put $2K into 1 car. That is a LOT of coral!

Excellent track and good fun. I was wanting to build one in my back yard for 1:10 electric, what were the dimensions of yours? 40' x 80'? Not really into competition though. My cars have been sitting for the last 4 years on a shelf, some of the batteries puffed up so they have been thrown away also.

I think that one lady is going the wrong way, she's going towards the car! I'd be jumping the other direction.
