The same day David/Urban was moving the old 500/g tank out of the house I ordered the new tank-wanted an elos but could not justify the cost. So decided to go with Red Sea reefer 750 XXL

Delivery day was today but dang Red Sea warehouse people missed some pieces of the stand. [emoji2955][emoji2955][emoji2955]

So could be another week before delivery/set up.

Yup life is too busy time to downgrade.
It found a house in San Antonio. I kept all my gear sold only tank and sump.
Dang I’m trying to think how I could’ve convinced my parents to get ur 500 but there would have been no way. But we actually have a space for it. But I would have needed the stand to be 3ft tall. Man that would have been funny my parents go on vacation and they come back to see a 500 gal reef tank. 😂😂😂 well at least your still in the hobby!

When I posted it for sale I said make sure you ask for permission from your spouse

In my house it had its own room so space was not an issue for me. By the way my stand was 44” tall.

Trying to organize the fish room closet for test kits/chemicals-bough this cheap steel rack with mdf shelves (don’t spill water [emoji1782]) rated for up to 2000 lbs.

Congrats on the new tank. As a clarification, Red Sea did not sell this tank directly to you or Urban and cannot possibly “missed” parts of the cabinet.

Have you decided on radions xr15 or 30’s?

I would put your name on a waiting list for a Trident ASAP. by the time you’re ready maybe you’ll get a call

Not sure yet on which radions. I want to hang the ATI fixture first and see how much coverage I get. Most likely will do the 30s.

Yup already got my name on the list. Should have one soon. Can't wait...love my apex gear.

Thanks Lucas!

Pukani rock-Which was acid washed twice. I already created the scape in the garage all I have to do is sit it in tank and mortar some of the pieces.

I’m going to run RODI water in the tank for a few days and check for PO4 leaching. Once all good then will add salt/sand and bacteria.

For the first time trying live sand. It was the same price as dry sand so what the heck.

Actually first time trying sand in the tank-my last 3 tanks were all bear bottom.
