Donating all my bed, dinning sets, sofas to Goodwill so where to get new furniture? Been looking around town but nothing catches my eyes. Either too much dough or the quality/design didn't appeal to my sense of taste. Already been to Gallery Furn, Stars, FD, etc. Looking for contemporary or modern/ THANKS.

Have you cruised the Fondren area? Lots of contemporary stuff there.
We also like to check out the Home Source warehouse on the beltway just north of I-10 on the west side. Their stuff is all solid woods from Asia.

Yea I did see lot of stores on Fondren. Just the facade from the street looks rather dirty. Probably going to have to try at least one this weekend. Thanks!

I haven't been to the new Macy's warehouse, but I have bought stuff there before when out by UH (when I was younger). They have pretty high quality furniture that can get real cheap. Thing is it is usually more gouged and smashed than scratched and dented. The occasional clearance item but most stuff is banged up really bad before they move it over. But, you can find some nice diamonds in the rough cheap- got a shaker style desk that is solid wood and heavy as anything with a gouge in an area you can't see for real cheap.

I know you are looking for reasonable prices but remember in most cases you get what you pay for.
