HI All:

well as in all things Aquariums...my 1200 reefmat is AWESOME , but the sensor seems to have stopped working, can't seem to be able to find the sensor to be sold separately (they sell them in the UK though)....anyone know of a store that may sell them Internet search has only given me UK/EU providers so far.

Thanks
Glenn

Most of these retailers buy from a few centralized suppliers which deal directly with the individual manufacturers. It would be too much to not only handle the retail side, but also each individual manufacturer as well, so another layer of middle man gets put in the mix. I would imagine that the suppliers never ordered it so it was just never an option for most retailers to order.

I would probably just go ahead and order it if you for sure could get it sent over seas and the shipping wasn't going to be too expensive/long. Not the ideal situation, but what other options do you have at the moment?

My experience with Red Sea parts is no one lists all the parts on their website. Marine and reef lists some not all. I suspect it’s due to the amount of work it would take to put them up versus the amount of sales they would get. I’m going to guess a Red Sea dealer can get the parts, but you will have you call to order it. Like Soymilk said though I would call Red Sea first, because it should be under warranty.

Red Sea is local by the airport. They don't stock the most problematic issue lots of people are experiencing?
