How long can we keep mixed saltwater? I've never had it more than 2-3 days. Current batch is 2-3 weeks. If kept in a closed container, could it be ok? I have added fresh water to maintain salinity. So what do yall think?

I have done two weeks - didn't see any ill effects.
Quite a long time, even longer if you keep a small powerhead in there and keep a lid on.
Keep in mind the alkalinity level has the potential to drop over time. How much and how fast I don't recall. Someone was discussing it on RC.

I think I had a batch made up and did not use it for about two weeks. Had a lid on the container and three powerheads in there and before i used it I checked the salinity level and just added more fresh RO water to bring it down.

I usually make a big 50-60 gallon batch and slowly use it up over months time.
