I've got a leather that has, within the last couple of days, developed a couple of white spots on the tips of its fingers. It's only on two or three of them and the rest seem to be fine. I know that one remedy would be to simply cut off the ill pieces but I've always heard that leathers can do some bad things to a tank when really stressed out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I did tests on my water and everything checks out. Nothing abnormal. It sits pretty close to a frogspawn, could this possibly be causing the problem?

Don't know but at this point I think I would run carbon if you aren't already, just to try to help the chemicals that might be being released.
