What did you think of Monterey Bay Aquarium?

We went last year and were a little disappointed at the lack of very many fish species that we aquarists are used to keeping, but the educational element was very good. Most of their exhibits are local cold water species.

Waikiki Aquarium was a great experience, at least after finding parking. LOL

I like Moody Gardens or Aquarium Restaurant better than M.B. for seeing fish. Also, Rainforest Cafe is very nice.

Bubba Gump's Restaurant just down Cannery Row from the M.B. Aquarium was the highlight of the day trip down from San Jose.

I was gonna say, how on earth are you keeping those strawberry anemones alive? They require frigid water. Heh heh...Monterrey Bay Aquarium...you had me going there for a minute.

Dave, I was a bit dissapointed too. I was expecting more exotic fish and more variety, but once we arrived I read the brochure and it said that all the species where from the california waters (must be a california thing)
So I wasnt expecting anything too exotic. I did like the jellyfish room.
