Hot dang my python, and I don't mean the other variety if you get my gist :), escaped for the 4th time since a friend gave her/him to me. Found it every time after a couple of days but this time around it's been well over a month. Turned my house upside down and all around yet no signs of her. Helppppppp!!!

That's the first place I looked. How long can balls go w/o food, water? Usually she'd stay out in the open and gives me the look as if to say "Hey! I'm here you dork"

Holy monster python!!! Too bad they probably going to put that one down. Mine is a ball so she gets to about 5ft max.

Lost my Red Tailed Boa for a month one time. Finally found her inside the couch. Had to cut the back open to get her out. Another time, she was inside the box springs under the bed, another time behind the logs in the fireplace.....you wouldn't think it would be that easy for an 8' snake to hide.

Mine is only 3ft and only about 1.5 yo. Don't think she can last much longer w/o food.

They can go a couple months without food. And usually they will come out looking for food when they get hungry. I would check for places where it couldn't get out of (ie. hall closet with door closed, duffle bag, box springs under bed, inside couch, etc). As long as it didn't get trapped somewhere or get outside, it should turn up.

Keep your toilets closed. I lived in a apartment complex and my roommate went into the bathroom and a ball python came out the toilet. I caught it and kept it for a couple days and found out it was the next door neighbors snake that got out.
Good luck..Hope you find it..

I've looked everywhere from the very first day she escaped. Under beds, closets, sofas...Nada! I really hope they can go for months w/o food but how's about water?

Oooh i hope she didn't take a dip in the toilet that'd be some nasty stuff.

Have you tried putting a heating pad out at night and letting the house get cool? Try it in every room. If you have hard floors put a light dusting of baby powder out here and there and see if you see any tracks. Also check your TVs and the components. They get nice and warm.

I have had a bunch of snakes, ball python, corn, milk, boas and I never fed anything but frozen. Had to buy feeder rabbits and kill them myself, I still froze them and thawed them before feeding just so she would continue to eat frozen.

Yikes ...save the rabbits. Pet smart carries frozen pinkies and rats or maybe a bit more affordable if you look online.
