why did my post get pulled?

nothing negative against city pets, but why do they continue to post in the general buy/sell/trade forum when they have their own forum to post in? also, why are they allowed to post in there anyways? don't the rules for the general b/s/t forum state no commercial posts? i understand that they are marsh contributors, but they do have their own forum in which to post items. if city pets can do it, what's stopping other sponsors from doing the same? are all the other sponsors/contributors allowed to fill the general b/s/t with their sells or special items they get in? not being unfair toward city pets, but trying to be fair and rule abiding for the other sponsors.

Honestly I really don't mind our sponsors posting in the B/S/T. They give a lot to the community and help keep us alive and provide us with lots of goods to offer for raffles.

When you get right down to it sponsors are members of our community. Yes they are commercial but the rules were intended to prevent non-sponsors and non-members from abusing the community forum.

Most of the sponsors prefer to post in their own forms since they have more freedom there, to my knowledge City Pets is the only one that chooses to use the B/S/T. However rules are rules so I will speak with them directly.

As far as your post removal.

I did not remove your post but I can tell you that the rules also state that..

"- These are not discussion forums. If you wish to purchase or trade, please post. However, if you only wish to comment on the quality of someone else's trade item or their price, with no intention of buying/trading, please keep it to yourself. "

I would have also removed your post and asked that you PM your concerns to one of the MOD's or BOD first to seek resolution.

I know we don't catch every single off topic post but we try to make sure they are all removed. Anytime your have a question or concern about a rule enforcement or lack-there-of you can always PM any member of the board or the MOD's for the forum in question.

I agree with John a 100%.

Jason PM'd me asking about the post and I basically told him the same thing.

I still cannot believe a 120 bucks for one yuma. If they are that rare, perhaps they need to be left in the ocean?
