I've posted this elsewhere but would be nice to get comments from some local reefers.

as stated I have a 29G Biocube with stock lights. MJ1200 return pump, 100w heater, Koralia nano, media basket with filter floss, purigen and chemi-pure in chamber 2 along with fuge basket (submersible light and chaeto).

Tank is a little over 1 month old with numerous inverts and half a dozen corals. (brain/trumpet/GSP/xenia/frogspawn/torch)

What I would like to stock are the following

1. blue-green chromis (already an occupant)
2. paired clownfish (already having juveniles paired, delivery about 4-6 weeks away)
3. Royal Gramma
4. carpenter's flasher wrasse

Any/all comments are appreciated. My only thought to change that list is that I would love a mystery wrasse, I just need someone on here to tell me that my tank is to small so I can forget about spending that kind of cash on a fish.

Honestly, you may run into trouble with a wrasse in a tank less than 50g. I know that's the "recommendation" on most livestock sites/stores. I really wouldn't do a Mystery Wrasse unless I had a tank that lightly stocked, mature, and with no other wrasses in it. Lots of pods help too... these things hunt all day long.

Definitely don't do the Mystery, unless you have a solid backup plan for it. That's just a lot of "qwan" in risk of flushing down the toilet.

all those fish will fight for space in that tank.
the flasher will try to jump out or hide all day from the other fishes. you may get luckey, but i would not risk it.
you should do the clowns, a goby like the yellow watchmen or similar sized. some snails or crabs for cleanup.

I have a biocube with a fish saver for the back compartments so I'm not worried about the wrasse jumping out or getting into the back. I planning adding each fish slowly and I'll keep an eye on the bioload and what is happening to the tank as it matures. From the months of reading and dozens of experience reef keepers I've talked to, I honestly don't think 5 fish will overload this tank, at least not those 5.

I have decided not to go with a mystery wrasse, they just seem to be too much trouble at times.

i would ditch the koralia nano and go with a larger pump. i had a koralia 2 (might have been a 1 though) on my jbj 24 gallon tank and it certainly created the water movement i needed.

as for the fish, the wrasse is where my concern lies. it and the royal gramma are sure to fight. in my old 180 my orange back wrasse would constantly bother the royal gramma even though it had a ton of room to swim around in. my personal choice would be to ditch the wrasse and keep the gramma.

a yellow watchman would make for a great tankmate if you want more fish.

I am going to add another powerhead since I got two with a set up I received. I don't know how to tell how strong they are though, all the writing is gone from the outside.
