When i was running a 72 bowfront i had a 30x12 sump, it was a 29g tank converted into sump. Worked really well.

ok thanks . i'm kinda new to salt water i still have to set up i still have no clue to what i'm doing . LOL 
I use a tall 29g for my sump and it fits great under my 72 bow. I have room for a 5 gallon bucket for auto top off and all my goodies.
