I have 2 acan colonies with sunken polyps and hermits eating away at the carcasses. Can anyone shed light on why some polyps are dying off?

Water levels:
Ca- 450 (salifert)
Alk - 8.6dKH
SG - 1.024
Temp - 79 degrees
