I have a motorola Q that just bit the dust. I have been with Verizon 4 years and don't use my phone for a whole lot, other than making calls. I currently have no data plan. I am a cat-5 kind of guy and have 3 pcs at home on a wired network. I have a wi-fi on U-verse, but its turned off.

So... if I get a G2 phone on T-mobile, I'll be faced with either 200mb for $10 a month, or $30 for unlimited data. I typically send about 1 or 2 texts a day, max, but typically none. I sit in front of a PC at work and have it at home. I won't game on it, so if I turn on the WI-fi at home, will the 200mb get me a month with just the occasional hotel rez, ebay, and stock quotes while on the road ? What happens when you go over 200 mb ?

Oh, also how does T-mobile do, quality wise ? Like I said, I am used to Verizon, but the $.20 a text is BS. If I did 2 phones from them, it will be much more expensive each month, like $60 or so.

My wife and I have had T-Mobile for as long as I can remember. I'm thinking of changing.
I don't have signal inside my new home, or my new office.

I have my son on the $45 pay as you go plan from WalMart. I use his phone when we are out of town, even right across the border in Mexico.

When my contract is up, I'm thinking of switching over. He has internet access, texting, long distance...
