I have a yellow zebramosa and a yellow bellied blue tang. I've had the yellow for 3.5 yrs and the blue for 3.

both tangs are losing fin tissue, but no signs of sores or redness as typically seen with fin rot. No signs of fighting or aggression.

This is has been getting progressively word for a couple months. I have an auto feeder that goes 3x per day and for the last month or so I have really been staying on top of giving nori soaked in selcon 3-4x per week. Water quality is great, no issues with clowns, anthias or any other inhabitants.

ideas, suggestions?

I run GAC off and on - I haven't changed it in months. I run it at a very low flow with no tumbling. I have run carbon like this for years. I doubt carbon has suddenly become an issue.
