Okay, I'm not skilled with wood or power tools, but I figure anyone should be able to make an ugly plywood stand. I'll worry about covering it up and making it pretty down the road.

Anyway, the dimensions of the tank is 21" wide and 21" deep. I would appreciate any advice or plans for a very simple 2x4 stand. I also have plywood on hand so I can use that as well.

Karen

PS...........this stand will be for a non RR tank so I don't have to worry about bulkheads, plumbing, etc.

You should have asked before I gave you the tank, I can do that pretty easily. ><

LOL, when you posted that you didn't have a stand for sale it never crossed my mind that I could ask you to build one. Not a biggie :D

Things I'm learning: Just because a chop saw looks easy to operate that's not necessarily true.............

Assuming I ever get this together and I don't chop off any fingers I'll post a pic.

hey karen if you just made my own stand and i think that it really turned out really well. if you would like i can pretty much tell you how to do it over the phone...your welcome to call me anytime 713-927-1622. the frame shouldn't take you more than an hour or so to make. i was like you and didn't know what to do so i sat and thought and thought and thought and that took me a long time but now that i know what the frame should look like and what is the true supports it's really easy.
