What is the square on the top back of the tank?
Are you running an HOB filter, to move water also?
I just setting up a 29 glalon, got a while to go still.
Haven't got my lights up yet, ordered them, but not come in yet.

yes i am using a HOB filter to help move water.
i am using 3 18in NO bulbs (15 watts each). a total of about 2 watts per gallon.

I am trying to make a refugium out of a HOB filter, the TectraTec, have to see how that goes, but it takes up a lot of realstate on the back. The Aquaclear is more space conscous. Plan on putting a CPR Bak-Pak on for a skimmer, don't have that yet either.
The lights I am going with is a 150W DE, and 2 VHO Antinics. I am hoping to grow some SPS in it eventually.
The sand storm is just now clearing up good.

narkon, I have a ac500 sitting in the garage with surface skimmer that I converted into a HOB fuge if you are interested. I live off dixie farm so should not be too far from you.

Actually I would be interested. Especially the surface skimmer.
And that is definitely not to far from me, I live in Heritage Park.
How much would you want for it?
I might have to see if I can use it though, might not have enough room on the back, but at the same time still wouldn't mind having it, incase I do have room on the back or need to trade out.
