I've dubbed this my Monet Project, because that's what my client wanted, a facsimile of Monet's Waterlilies. This is in his dining room. I will be doing all four walls in this theme, each wall a different scene, and this is the near completion of the first wall.

That's beautiful! Nice job. How long did that one wall take you?

Thanks for the compliments. :) I've got a little less than 30 hours in the project so far. Included in that time, I also started on the other walls as far as getting my scene drawn out, and one small wall is half done already. It took longer to do this wall because of the bridge. I freehanded it, and it took a while to get it right. I still want to go back and work on some aspects of it. The other walls won't be as "busy" so probably won't take quite as long.

WOW that is nice Karen. I wish I was brave enough to do something like that to my wall. ;-)

I look forward to the day when we get pregnant so I can have a cool mural like that in the baby's room...

Unfortunately Karen didn't take any pics of the Winnie the Pooh mural she did for some of our friends who had quads. She figured anyone who was brave enough to have quads deserved a free mural

Chances are good that it will be at least until then since we've got Christmas to get through first. When she came home with 4' T-5 retro fit I decided that was a hint that she eventually wants a 4' tank

LOL - that's a pretty obvious hint if I've every seen one ;) Or she could want to put the T-5's end to end for an 8 foot tank??

I was thinking of stuff for Abigails room :) She has the pattern called Secret Garden by Lambs & Ivy. Maybe a bunch of butterflies and dragonflies around the walls. Not sure as of yet but I've always loved wall murals like that. Heck, maybe have you do the back bathroom that's mine.
