I have about 5 turbo snails in my 46 bow and they do a great job of cleaning the rocks n glass. The problem is that they're the size of a golf ball and they knock over everything..frags..rocks. What are some good alternative and where can i get them?

Astrea snails, cerith snails, nassarius snails, etc all work well for cleaning glass and sand and rockwork. These are some of the smaller varieties. The astreas can still knock stuff over though. If need be get some epoxy and glue the rocks and frags in place.

Trochus snails are the best, but damn they are delicate. If you find some be conscious about how they pick and pack them. These are guys that you don't want to rip off the side of the tank - they'll TKO in a matter of days from internal damage.

Could I ask what kind of epoxy you use? I have tried super glue gel and it just doesn't work for my frags even. My turbos (Lucy and Desi) keep knocking things off.

Aqua mend epoxy from Home depot works well but will make a skimmer act up for a few hrs or use copious amounts of super glue gel. I usually mount my frags to small plugs of rock with the superglue gel and then once they start to encrust a base I will epoxy the plug to my rockwork if that is where it's final resting spot is going to be. They also sell an epoxy at the LFS that is 2-3 times more expensive than the AquaMend epoxy and is basically the same stuff.

Ok I will give that a shot. I'm getting tired of my zoas ending up in the sand every day after I have carefully placed them in their specifically assigned spot....lol
