Nice! Looking good so far.
I love mine. I think the dims are perfect. I'd recommend the 25 or the 50 to anybody.
Are you running a skimmer?

I 100% agree. IM got it right with their lagoon series and No skimmer! Just bi weekly wc of 5 gallons and a compartment stuffed with chaeto. It's growing really well and my sand bed is staying really clean so I don't see a need for it right now

Nice tank! The wife and kids got me the same one for Christmas that I need to build a stand for, so I can get it set up. I was thinking about getting the hydor slim skim but it won't fit in the back compartment and like the idea of using the chaeto. Is that the IM MagnaFuge LED light that you are using?

Yes it is. And the chaeto grows like weeds! The fuge basket makes it 100 times easier for me to get the chaeto out to trim as well

Tank update

Everything seems to be happy. Minus the shading from my kessil on a few sps frags. But alas I have built a canopy and installed a t5 retrofit to help with this problem. All that's left is to hang it above the tank. It still needs a proper paint job as well [emoji16]

I'm still undecided on how I want to do this. Anyone have any ideas that worked well for them? I don't have much clearance between the wall and the back of the tank so a stand won't do.

Not sure yet. I think having a mangrove would be very neat to have but I need to get the t5 canopy hanging above the tank before I can get to that

Nice job with the canopy! I did something similar with mine and love it. I feel like T5 and LEDs are very complimentary. The difference in mine is just the LED fixture used. Mine just sit in with the bulbs in their own compartments.

Thanks! It's the same one as BRS but I ordered it from aquacave. They're cheaper on pretty much everything.
