I just hooked up my IceCap 660 again after using WH7's for the past 9 or 10 months.
After about an hour, I heard a very noticable POP sound, and the lights went out.
There was a strange smell also.
I took out 2 of the 4 bulbs and tried just the actinics and they still light fine.

Does this sounds like just one of my bulbs went bad?
I'm going to test the 2 I took out in a little while.

Be sure to check the endcaps on the bulbs that went out to see if there is any melting. When the pins get loose on the bulbs, they start arcing and can melt the endcaps from the inside out.

Tested both the bulbs I removed with a WH7 and they work.
I can't imagine the icecap is what made the noise.
I can't see anything wrong with any of my endcaps.
I may just replace them all anyway since I'm due for new VHO bulbs.
