Given that I don't know if its been tried before, I'd only do corals evidently infected. No idea on dosage, we'd have to experiment.

Im reading that Chloramphenicol is an antibiotic that works but only problem is that it is unattainable.

Correct, not in production anymore I believe. Cipro is much mucb easier to get a hold of.

Hmm... Worth a shot I guess. They are deteriorating fast. Currently dipping in lugols again too try and slow this down.

ive tried iodine and lugols and some other dips as well as vitamin c for BJD and all did nothing...

i would try the cipro if i were u...its worked awesome for the other member..

Yes brown jelly is very deadly. . Cut it if you can.

Well I think it's down to 2 pieces that have it and look pretty bad may just remove them and cut my losses. If there is any more I would like your assistance with the dips. You all have been very helpful.

Ok so I'm having the melting issue again. But no sign of jelly. I've lost 3 euphyllia already. It looks deflated then next day gone. Here are pictures. Please help

What are your tank parameters? Cal, alk, and especially magnesium.

Very strange. Did you ever try the cipro dip?

No I didn't. My only thought at this point is that my gfo needed changing. It was very strange because it happened overnight.

Not sure this happened right after I bought a gold torch as well about a month ago. All the flesh just hangs out of the skeleton in a large mass

This seems to be happening on a weekly basis now. Just before a water change Ill loose 2-3 heads. I will monitor what I need to start dosing.

Bought 2 hammers last week. Dipped them and put them in a medium flow medium/low light area of the tank to get them acclimated but 1 of the 2 already dissolved. Looked good then gone. Strange.

Been dosing and feeding normally.
