Ok I is a little “kind of” sad my Jebao WP40 I think died on me… I cannot get it open to take the impreller out to clean it.
So my question is what powerhead out there is a wavemaker that does not cost two arms & two legs that is easy to open up when you have to take out the impreller to clean it?

Try to put a towel around the outer cage and the back of the pump in the other hand.
Then turn/twist. Works with my pumps.

If it has a lot of coralline on it, soak the whole thing in vinegar for a day. Then do what Andre said. It should come off.

No coraline on it or inside and I tried the towel thing last night. I guess I am just not strong enough to get it to turn or twist and I don't won't to force it either causing it to break.
