Hard to say, I've read both sides about the WH5, some say it is hard on the bulb, some say it works fine.

Wattage wise, I would think it would be ok, but someone had made a comment to me about the way the ballast starts the bulb. Instant start vs rapid start or something like that.

I am about to buy mine from 360reef out of Austin for $125 includes 2 54w bulbs in the kit. You can find him on Maast.org under that name.
