Hey Everyone,

Just thought I'd start a "Have you seen these at the LFS" type thread. I think it would help those of us who live in BFE if we could post items we are looking for and fellow members could post if they saw one on their LFS visits.

This applies to everyone looking for something odd or just something that they wont have to go to five diff stores to find. Some of the things I've listed are rarely available locally but, if you multiply the amount of eyes looking for it, you never know!

I'll start....

Read my signature! Love unusual clownfish. Find me a Leucokranos or Cap clown locally and I'll give you $20! Or a twelve pack.

Also looking for colored carpets; Red Blue and Purple

You just never know what you'll find. I've found rare unusual items at the crappiest LFS [No Names]. Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks to TCarlson for giving me this idea with a rare clown tip!

still looking for a Potter's Angel or Sheperd's Angel. :(

They had a bunch of Potter's in at Aquarium World when I was there a few days ago. They had several medium sized ones - not too big or small - which would be just right. Hopefully the smaller ones would be easier to train to eat, which is a big problem with these fish.

Normally I'm not a big fan of Aquarium World but one nice thing is that they have a 7 day guarantee on livestock, which came in really handy for me when I had a Velvet outbreak blow through my tank. I bought 3 clowns in a row from them, each of which died within a few days (along with the other fish in my tank from other stores) due to the Velvet, and they honored the warranty every time, which saved me about $60 in the end.

That would be Alveopora catalai, I believe. I've never seen one in any of the LFS, but if I do, it's yours.

Looking for a juvenile Annularis angel just starting to show its adult color change.

I got a 5" juvenile Emperor angel 8 months ago that had just the very first hint of change and it's 90% changed now. Watching the color tranformation of angels through the mixed patterns is too cool.

BTW, the Annularis is for a different tank than the Emperor is in.

$10 reward

Aquarium World is expensive, but they always have the most diverse type of fish that you dont see at the other stores.

As for me, I always look for exotic SPS that have rare and unusual colors and shapes. :)
