I have a fish only tank with invertebrates and want to start adding corals. Right now I use kent purple tech and coravite. I also have a phosgen and biozorb pouch in my filter area. What else should I put in my tank for corals? Looking to place an order today. Thanks!

My tank is a 29 biocube with the 10k, actinic, and blue led lights in the hood. I do have the skimmer in the first chamber. As for fish now just a yellow stripe maroon clown, 3 damsels, mandarin and diamond goby, lawnmower blenny, chocolate chip starfish, emerald crabs, turbo snails, and a cleaner shrimp. Oh and a hermit crab that was bought as a turbo snail....guess he had taken over the snail at the lps.... I haven't fully decided on corals. I am getting a RBTA also. I was thinking maybe some colorful polyps to start but would like something that moves with water flow. I like the movement. Thanks for your help!

Never add anything to your tank that you didn't test for.
Most of that bottled stuff at the LFS is snake oil.

When you start adding coral you want to be testing the big 3. Alkalinity, Calcium and Magnesium.
The Red Sea Pro Reef Foundation kit is a great one for these.
Keep these three in the recommended range and you shouldn't need to add anything else to your tank.

Calcium isn't as important with softies, like you want, but if you try hard coral you'll definitely need to test for that. Keep a close eye on your sea star. I'v read somewhere that they can eat polyps if they don't get enough food.

Looks all cool.
I think you have a little to much livestock.
Ditch to sea star and emerald crabs.
Zoa's are nice as paly's too for your tank.
If you do twice a week a WC of 2 gallons you don't need any dosing done or even checking for it.
I would get a PO4 tester and PH tester.
The lights are T5's?
