Marshians, who doesn't love learning more aout this hobby? I'm judging interest in a lecture or Q & A session via zoom. Maybe even in person if there is enough interest. What topics do you wanna learn about?

New to hobby and how to start a new tank?

Dosing, what's that? And why do I need to do it?

How about diy projects, see what others are doing and make something you didn't even know you needed.

Let me know what you wanna learn about.

Nah, not interested - I already know everything. ha ha

DIY projects could be interesting. Also how to get better pictures of fish and corals, and enhance them on the computer so they look better but not fake.

As someone who has had an Apex on his tank for almost 6 years and never really set it up, it would be interesting to see what people are doing with controllers.

I've been focused lately on budget reefing... Tips, tricks, hacks, DIY to make reef keeping more affordable. Or inexpensive equipment and livestock options.

It would be great to see more hobbyists talking about this subject, and sharing their experiences with more affordable options.

I have spent a lot of time learning by trial and error on how to take great pics and build things. I would love to share what knowledge I have on these issues, but I'm sure there are some better pros out there that maybe would could get to talk on the subject matter. The reason Brandon is asking is because we want to get a better idea of fun and exciting things to plan for our members this year. Anything that interests y'all is a possibility!

For instance, we had @Humblefish on a zoom call a few years back to talk about treating fish because it was something the club was interested in, and we want to get back into doing those types of things. Thanks again for doing that, @Humblefish !

Yeah folks have all got a 20-30% pay cut the last few years due to inflation, so saving money where you can is important. Push come to shove, this a luxury hobby, but you don't want to see enthusiastic members leave our community without them wanting to.
