Hello all,

I have recently purchased a 90g tank and was wanting to get some schooling fish. What would be a good species for this? I was thinking about 8-10 Green Damsels. Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Robert

No fish will school in an aquarium. Some may shoal, but even then they have to have a certain sense of being threatened to do that. Damsels are cheap, may stick together, but they won't school (and probably won't shoal). Anthias are similar. Some small cardinals will shoal well in aquaria, but they are hard to acclimate and find.

my 15 chromis shoal about 95% of the time. Originally had 25, but stable at 15 once the weak were gone.
