What is it? Found in sump/refug (1 Viewer)

Anyone know ? is this some kind of coral or sponge? I have watched it grow (very slowly) over about a month or so and it is about 1/4 to 3/8 round and "off white" colored. My picture isn't to good but thought someone may have an Idea .

wow, that's something new. do those hairlike things do much (contract, stick to the walls of the sump, wave around, etc.)?

the hair like thing do stick to glass a bit - my pic's are down for some reason I. Will try to fix um or repost it

I think it's a sponge. I've seen lots of those.
