At Fish Ranch, i noticed in some of their tanks, the output on a powerhead goes to this little gadget that swirls in a circular motion. They look a little goofy, but I'd like to have more water movement in my aquarium.
I've tried to look them up, but i don't know what to call them.

What are they called? Does anyone have experience with these?

Did you try asking someone at Fish Ranch about them? There's a good chance that they sell them there. I know City Pets uses them on some of their tanks, and I've seen them for sale there too.

DonnieKim, thanks, but that's not the thing I'm talking about.
This gadget looks like it's propelled by the water motion, and it rotates this thing, oh man, I can't explain it.

It rotates like, a bike petal?

The bike pedal - good analogy. I know exactly what you're talking about. Try City Pets - I know I've seen them there, by the plumbing stuff.
