Zoa colony is shooting out what looks to be cobwebs. Sometimes its a single strand and sometimes it looks like Batman. Shoot always comes from the same single polyp. Can't quite figure out how to upload a picture, no visual aids

It is probable vermetid snails. If you don't know, They are stationary and make little calcium carbonate tubes terminally attached to rocks. They shoot out webs to collect food floating in the current. They are not necessarily harmful but can be a nuisance.
