Notice the snail eggs in front on the glass.

Anyone have a guess? or if I should put it higher or in my tank or keep it where it is? Does it look like it needs to eat? or just light? I have had it for a little over a week now and it has stayed the same. Thanks

Some species of soft coral. Has the same care requirements as other softies.

possibly capnella imbricata. It looks a little bleached and the polyps are weak but it seems like it might recover because it looks like it is gaining its symbionts back.I would leave it alone and not mess with it.

hmm.. apparently there's also a sps cauliflower coral (on yahoo search). here's the kind i was suggesting.

it does also resemble capnella. i'd lean towards reefsavers' suggestion, since i've never kept softies and the pics on the web look a bit more like capnella (as far as I can tell).
