I have an aquamaxx 100gpd RO/DI unit, where can I get replacement cartridges and membrane? I'm not even sure what all I need to replace and when I look up the filters, I find tons, I have no idea what I need.

I bought my RO/DI from Global, and he was cool enough to change all of the filters that I needed changed. I'd call him and see if he carries the stuff for your brand, and if he does I'd take it to him!

When I took my unit up to him, he told me:
That needs replaced,
that doesn't
that does
etc.
The stuff he said to replace wasn't that much, and appeared in pretty ugly shape!

Get a membrane that is under a 100, like a 75 gal, it will keep more junk out of the finished product.

I've got the same system also. I get my replacement filters from Buckeye field supply, but if you don't want to wait you can get them from John.

On a 100GPD unit, you'll only get out about 5 gallons per hour, so if it's a 25GPD unit, you'll only get about a gallon per hour.

At least, that is how I understand it.

Also low water temp can affect it's output. You can get an adjustable flow control to compensate. Rule of thumb is 4:1 waste/water ratio. 100gpd RO membranes are ~90% affective where 75gpd and under are ~98% affective. I think Filmtec is rated at 50psi for that value. GE membranes might be different. Some old ones are rated for 60psi. All that can affect the output.
