I need 6 foot of 6 inch c-channel. I called Triple S and all they have is 20ft. Can tell me where to find a piece or even located me some?

For curious minds I'm making a front bumper for my Jeep Liberty. And yes it's lifted :)

Are you set on 6" C channel? I need to run by my shop and see what I have but I am pretty sure I have some 2x8 square tubing and some 4x4 square tubing, both of which would be stronger than C channel. I'll go by there tomorrow and let you know what I have if you're interested. Whatever I have, you are welcome to come get.

I know it's schedule 40. I'll measure the thickness when I go by there. I also think I have some 6" steel tubing if you want a round bumper.

Ok, here's what I have. 2'X4" C channel. I have two 7' sticks and one 5' stick. It is about 1/4" thick. Also have some 3" angle of the same thickness that you could weld together, but you would have a seam down the middle. Probably not what you want. If you want to try the C channel, come get it. Its going to the scrap yard at some point. steel.jpg
