Im just curious if anyone knows who has one of the bigger aquariums in Houston. Coral Tank. Thanks!

I know mredman's x-workplace has one which Kevin cares for now and its 500g. Anyone know anyone else? Your brother? cousin? neighbor? ;)

Oh and not commercial tanks either.

That giant-arse tank was mredman's employer's tank?? What happened to him? I noticed he seemed to drop off the planet MARSH.

Yea it wasnt his. His company paid for the entire setup & aquarium. He just bought the livestock himself. lets just say thats not "his" tank anymore. Im not sure where he ended up. Havent heard from him for a while now too.

I've been half tempted to go in and check out the tank @ Redman's, seeing as how he bought most of my corals when I broke down my setup nearly a year and a half a go. I'm kinda afraid to, given we don't hear from him anymore. I'm more afraid of what I might do to him if he killed my babies. Sherri will you bail me out, if necessary?

DJ, i wouldnt worry too much. Kevin is caring for it and he says the corals are doing much better now that he has control over it. Kevin said they were thinking of selling it, but they looked at him like he was crazy when they said how much they would get back from it after spending all that money. :) Thats one thing about company owned tanks, they come and go and usually dont last as long.

It looks alot diff now than it did a year ago. I live about 2-3 miles from there and stop by on the weekend every 3 months or so. The veiw from the window isnt the same as the guided tour he gave last fall...
Doesnt look bad, but he has some sps that dont seem to be there anymore.

We've got a 2000 gallon at work.

There is a 20,000 gallon in NYC, on Long Island.

A 300,000 gallon, (thats right, there are 5 zero's after that 3) is being built in Atlanta.
