Help me please,

I got a nice piece of Xenia from Reefalot (Thanks a lot) on Friday and once I put it in my tank and the first day went fine, just pulsing away. Now, it just flows in the waves. I'm worried that it may not make it. Should it receive alot of current? Had the water checked at Neptune's and all seems fine, just a little too much Nitrate. I really, really would like to keep this alive and have been told that my lighting should suffice(3.25 watts per gallon).
Any help would be appreciated.
Also, did a partial water change today of about 4 gallons.

From what I have read and heard is that xenia will grow like a weed in
one tank and never grow in another. I think it does like a higher
alk.

Xenia loves light and flow. Do you dose your tank w/ iodine? I dose mine w/ lugols (1 drop every other day) If your xenia doesn't make it go to Aquatic Center. I have 3 different xenias (silver tip, pink, and pom pom) in my tank, and I always give Kenny at Aquatic Center once a month. Hope this helps.

I'll try to get my water parameters tested again this week. As far as lighting and flow, It's in the lower third of my 20 gallon tank and is getting constant flow( I see it twirling around alot ). I do dose Iodine once a week along with Strontium and recently Coral Accel (<-- sp?) all from Kent. May have to try moving it higher in the tank, probably around the halfway point.
Thanks

I've always put mine in high flow and that seems to do it.
I've never had mine pulse though, even though I've bought it from a tank it was pulsing in.

My xenia is weeds in my nano, and won't do squat in my 75. My nano is bulletproof however, I could grow anything in there. Doesn't make any sense.
